Abstract:
AbstractWensbro considers the four themes of "punishment", "sign", "emigration" and "covenant" to be the main and widely used themes of the Qur'an, the keywords of which are often taken from the covenants. According to him, "Umme, Olon, Qoran, Qoriya and Yum" and the traditions indicating divine punishment show the theme of "punishment"; "Verse, Alama, Ibraa, Aswa, Hadith, Example, Tazkira, Zikr, Zikri, Binah, Proof, Sultan, Prophet, Rituals, Conditions and Works" and attributes of "Divine Creation, Guidance, Holy Book and Miracles", the theme of "Sign" they express "Jalaa, exodus, emigration, fur, people, and captives" refer to the theme of "emigration" and "Ahad, Covenant, Dhimma, Habalullah, trust, allegiance, and faith" refer to the theme of "Covenant". Since he has used humanistic principles and methods such as literary criticism in choosing the main themes of the Quran, this article evaluates his views in this field. According to the evaluation, although Wensbrough's follow-up in the verses to explain the Quranic themes is commendable, but the four themes of "punishment", "sign", "emigration" and "covenant" which he lists as the main and widely used themes of the Quran, with an overall view The verses do not match.
