Undoubtedly, what shows the depths of a nation's soul is its literature. And examining and
comparing the literature of the nations with each other in the national and global arena is very
beneficial because it increases the understanding between the nations and brings them closer
intellectually. The story (Dezi Jadav) by Ostad Hezhar is a translation of the story (Ignorant Thief)
by Nasrullah Manshi in the book Kalileh and Demaneh, which he translated by making changes
in the story. This article has explained the similarities and differences of the two stories with
analytical-descriptive method and with a comparative approach and has clarified that Nasrullah
Manshi stated that they were an ignorant man with several thieves and they went to the roof of a
house, but Master Hejar They have stated that he was a thief. Both stories have mentioned that the
owner of the house found out when the thief was on the roof, but Nasrullah Manshi has stated that
the man woke up his wife, but Ustad Hajhar has stated that the woman was not sleeping, and when
the man heard the voice of the thief, he told the woman. Let's make a trap for the thief to be
deceived. Both stories mention that they went to steal on a moonlit night in such a way that the
moon had illuminated the environment. Nasrullah Manshi stated that the man said to his wife: I
will put myself to sleep and you start talking to me in a voice that thieves can hear and ask me
insistently and ask me to explain to you that Where did I get all this money? And Master Hajar
also gave the same interpretation and said that the man said in a loud voice that the thieves could
hear, tell me how you got all this gold and jewels? Ostad Hejhar says that the thief thought that the
people of the house were sleeping, and he prepared to enter the house. He said Sholem, he hugged
the moonlight, his back hit the bed of the house, when he entered, they were also awake, two
people with clubs in their hands, one on the right side and the other on the left, they said where
does it hurt and started hitting him. they did Nasrullah Manshi says that only the man or the owner
of the house had a big club in his hand and as soon as the first thief fell, he started hitting him and
hitting his head and shoulders. The element of dialogue is in both stories, whether between the
thief and the owner of the house, or between a man and a woman. Also, Ostad Hejar has changed
its title and brought it under the name (Dezi Jadav). And Nasrallah Manshi mentioned it as
(ignorant thief). In the last stanza, Master Hajjar states the conclusion of the story if you do not
have the skills, profession and knowledge in the work; Thousands of prayers and magic do not
help. And Nasrallah Manshi mentions the thief's remorse, admitting his ignorance.
