In the Medieval Arabic Tradition Theory, the grammatical and
morphological analysis of classical texts was as old as establishing
the grammatical and morphological rules. This can be seen since
2nd century AH when works done about parsing the Qur'an and its
meanings have been appeared. In such works, some issues like
parsing ambiguity and rules violation (or what could be thought as
rules violation) had been discussed in the Holy Qur'an, Hadith and
Poetry. Later, this sort of study was called as "Parsing Ambiguity" .
The aim of current paper is to consider the concept of Parsing
Ambiguity in the light of its traditional studies. The paper, also,
deals with the reasons, aspects and ways of interpretation of Parsing
Ambiguity. One major outcome of this paper comes from revealing
the fact that this sort of ambiguity is considered, by scholars, as a
justification for expansion analysis to explain rules in different
ways and to assume other potential views in order to give the
learner more practice exercises and also to discover and master
parsing peculiarities. Taking this fact into consideration, the Arabic
Language contemporary studies should consternate on the
grammatical analysis workbooks and compare them with their
theoretical counterparts. This could lead to original and
distinguished outcomes .
