Introduction & Objectives: Mental fatigue is psychophysiology condition that occurs as a result of long-term cognitive activities and lead to changes in motor coordination. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of yoga training on mental fatigue effects control, balance and proprioception Men Amateur Athletic.
Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, 40 amateur male students were voluntarily selected as the sample and randomly divided into experimental (15) and control (15) groups. The experimental group received 3 sessions of 1 hour sessions per week for eight weeks. Before and after yoga, mental exhaustion with 45 minutes of stroke activity (Stroop test), Dynamic Balance with Y test, Semi-dynamic balance with Lafayette Stability Platform, Knee proprioception was assessed with an inclinometer. Data were analyzed by SPSS software (version 22) and paired sample t-test at the significant level 0.05.
Results: that the main and interaction effect that dynamic balance (P=0.0001), and main and interaction effect of Active and passive knee proprioception (P=0.0001) which have been reported as the predictors of lower extremity injuries risk after yoga practice Have been significant.
Conclusion: Significant changes in balance, proprioception factors of amateurs after yoga practice have been shown to be important, Injury prevention professionals should study and practice yoga as an important strategies for mental fatigue prevention. And research.
