Debate is one of the effective propaganda methods and popular formats in the field of communication, which also has a valuable place in religious propaganda. In the Holy Qur'an, God invites man to a good debate, based on which the debate is held on the basis of ethics. One of the milestones in the history of Islam is the migration of Hazrat Reza (a.s.) from Madinah to Khorasan by the order of Ma'mun Abbasi. During this trip, His Holiness gave speeches, speeches and other methods of religious propaganda. The debates of Hazrat Reza (a.s.) with the thinkers of divine and non-divine religions in Ma'mun Abbasi Palace are a pure example of good debate and comprehensive propagation of Islam in dealing with other religions. In one of the debate sessions, Imran Sabi, one of the Sabaean theologians, enters into a debate with Hazrat Reza (a.s.) regarding divine unity. This research examines the debate of Hazrat Reza (a.s.) with Imran Sabi in an analytical-descriptive way. The current research has used Howland's 6-stage theory of persuasion and the main variables of persuasion as a theoretical framework. From the results of this research, it is possible to point out the observance of ethics and professional principles of debate by Hazrat Reza (a.s.) and the creation of a scientific atmosphere based on the assumptions of the audience to convey a reasoned message and away from seeking superiority and destroying the opponent's character. Hazrat Reza (a.s.) draws Imran's attention to the message by creating a dialectic dialogue and after understanding, ensures the acceptance of the conclusion of the message in Imran. In the end, by intelligently changing the message transmission channel from words to actions, Hazrat transforms the new attitude into behavior.
