Background and Aim: Consumer behavior and instant buying behavior have been one of the topics of interest for marketing researchers in recent decades; Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the psychological and cultural factors and media affecting instant purchase behavior.Research method: The present study was a qualitative research and descriptive phenomenology. The method of data collection was in-depth interviews. Ten people with the experience of sudden purchase in the age range of 30-40 were purposefully selected and interviewed. In order to analyze the qualitative data and extract the desired categories, the free, selective and axial triple coding method was used. The main and secondary structures were identified according to the Strauss and Corbin model. Results: The results showed that the underlying factors included customer orientation (nature and skill), environment (position, time, family), advertising (reputation) and the nature of the product. Causal conditions were divided into two categories: stimuli and cultural factors. The category of stimuli included internal and external stimuli that caused immediate buying behavior, and the category of culture included beliefs, attitudes and thought patterns proposed by the research sample. Interfering conditions included shopping space (design, feel, welcome, decor). The consequences of immediate purchase were also coded in two dimensions, negative to positive, that participants used control, elimination and compensation strategies to deal with the consequences. Conclusion: Therefore, it can be concluded that according to the results of the interviews, the negative consequences were both quantitatively and qualitatively more than the positive consequences.
