Considering that a political unit needs a logical convergence between its constituent parts in order to survive; Middle Eastern governments need to converge to resist the divergence imposed on them by foreign governments. This has led to a regional convergence among some regional actors, for example Iran and Syria, despite not having the same language, culture and race. The main factor and the ground for regional convergence in Iran-Syria relations can be considered the adoption of the same foreign policy against Israel, as well as the support of Lebanese Hezbollah and Palestinian resistance movements. This closeness of relations in order to ensure security c. Iran, as well as Syria, are against Israel. In these anti-Zionist strategies, Hezbollah in Lebanon plays a key role in the foreign policy of Iran and Syria, which has been able to strike blows at Israel, both politically and militarily. Brought. However, this convergence faces obstacles. For example, Saudi Arabia, as one of the most important obstacles to the regional convergence of Iran and Syria, tries to prevent this convergence by using political, economic and ideological tools. This research is a descriptive-analytical method.
